{Road Trip} Day Ten - More Parks ~ State, National & International...

...in both MAINE and NEW BRUNSWICK!

We began our day with a visit to Acadia National Park...

What a beautiful place!

We drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain to admire the view...

and spent some time playing in the frigid, and fiesty, surf on Sand Beach...

before heading east to West Quoddy Head Lighthouse, the easternmost point in the continental United States!

 

B now has a couple of "extreme points" under his belt!

From Lubec, we took the bridge over to Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada...

{in New Brunswick ~ the bridge is in the background}

to visit Roosevelt's (Summer) Cottage ~ probably my favorite Presidential stop on this trip...

We just had to take a peek at East Quoddy Head Lighthouse before leaving the island...

 

and crossing back over the border to Maine.
