{Road Trip} Day Five - Ohio Presidential IV

So, Ohio just has a lot of presidents...like, A LOT...  That's all...

First, up - the McKinley Memorial in Canton, OH

Looks a lot like a #capitolstepschallenge from my perspective!

From there, we continued to Mentor, OH and toured Lawnfield, the James A. Garfield National Historic Site...

 

 

where the littles worked to earn their Junior Ranger badges...

Working our way towards Cleveland, we stopped in Moreland Hills, OH at the replica cabin built near the birthsite of President Garfield...

and hiked the short trail into the woods to see the actual site his family's cabin once occupied ~ a boulder with a plaque marks the spot...

 

We capped off the day in Cleveland...

where we paid our respects at the James A. Garfield Memorial...

 

enjoyed the view of the beautiful Cleveland skyline from above...

 

and even got to help lock up...

 

before heading into town to grab dinner...
